Hidden Colour Messenger Bag & Passport Pocket (No. 402)
These felted Messenger Bags and Passport pockets are based on the idea of hidden colour. Each bag has a plain flap that hides a brightly colored design or stripe. And inside each bag is a vibrant passport pocket that can serve as a pocket for the larger bag or may be worn on its own. Both the Messenger Bags and the small Passport Pockets are knit in one piece. Straps are knitted separately then attached.
Pattern Difficulty Level: Beginner to Advanced. Requires knowledge of knitting and purling, making I-cords, knitting on circular and double-pointed needles.
Hidden Yellow Messenger Bag & Pocket. The Bag and pocket use Cascade 220 Yarn in the following colours:
2 skeins of shade 4002 (jet), 2 skeins of shade 7827 (goldenrod), 6 skeins of shade 8400 (charcoal), 1 skein of shade 8555 (black)
Dimensions: 12″ (30cm) high, 18″ (45cm) long, 2″ (5cm) wide.
Hidden Orange Messenger Bag & Pocket. The Bag and pocket use Cascade 220 Yarn in the following colours:
2 skeins of shade 8555 (black), 2 skeins of shade 9444 (tangerine), 6 skeins of shade 4002 (jet), 1 skein of shade 7825 (orange sherbet).
Dimensions: 12″ (30cm) high, 18″ (45cm) long, 2″ (5cm) wide.
Dimensions (Passport Pocket): 9″ (22.5cm) high, 5″ (12.5cm) wide.
