Michel Design Works – New Fragrances

At Marilyn and Melrose we love fine quality soaps with stunning fragrances to match.  That’s why we have been a stockist of the Michel Design Works Soap and Foaming Soaps for several years now.

To celebrate the onset of Spring we have just received the six new fragrances released by Michel Design Works, presented as usual in their stunning, eyecatching packaging.  The new fragrances are Gardenia, Magnolia, Ocean Tide, Royal Rose, Sweet Floral Melody and Wild Lemon.

Due to health concerns these days because of Coronavirus, we’re all doing a lot more hand washing than usual. This can dry out and damage the skin. So it’s all the more important to use rich, gentle soap.  Michel Design Works soap contains only the finest ingredients: pure palm oil, glycerin, and rich, moisturising shea butter. Each soap bar is triple-milled to ensure that it’s thoroughly blended and silky smooth  Truly luxurious and handmade in England.

At Marilyn and Melrose we love the foaming hand soaps, partly for their convenience and also their longevity.  Each foaming soap contains shea butter and aloe vera for gentle cleansing and moisturising, and it comes in a dispenser that’s graceful in style and generous in size.

We have found over the years that Michel Design Works offer consistently high quality products and create distinctive, signature designs that our customers love. We too love the stunning patterns, vibrant colours, luxurious textures and delicious scents which dramatically enhance the mood and ambience, and turn any bathroom into a spa.

Over 30 years ago, Deborah and Bruce Michel launched Michel Design Works, featuring beautiful paper gifts, such as books, journals and stationery.  Today the main focus of their business is centred on the beautiful soaps and foaming soaps.  From the beginning however, they believed that packaging was just as important as the gift itself. Deborah developed our own unique style, inspired by her lifelong love of French and English art from the 18th and 19th centuries. Her layering of multiple antique designs and her vivid colour transformations lead them to establishing a stunning, often whimsical look that is always recognisable.
